Day 15 - Stressed at Work

Today's Tasks

  1. Read the lesson context.
  2. Listen to the audio clips several times until the sounds feel familiar. Do not repeat aloud—just listen and absorb.
  3. Download the Anki deck and review it daily. It includes all the audio clips in today's lesson for efficient review. Review previous decks if prompted to do so.
  4. Spend at least 30 minutes listening to native Russian audio. It doesn't matter if you don't understand it.

    I don't even know... I'm swamped at work, can't get anything done, I'm fed up with it all.

    Burned out, maybe? Do you need a vacation?

    Probably... I wake up in the morning thinking just about getting through the day. I have no joy or energy left.

    Это плохой знак. Надо отдохнуть. Возьми пару дней за свой счёт или к врачу сходи.
    That's a bad sign. You need a rest. Take a couple of days off or go see a doctor.

    Да, думаю сходить к психологу, поговорить. Может, таблетки какие пропишут от нервов.
    Yeah, I'm thinking of seeing a therapist to talk. Maybe they'll prescribe something for my nerves.

    Главное - не тяни с этим. Здоровье важнее работы, сам знаешь.
    The main thing is, don't put it off. Health is more important than work, you know.
