Day 29 - Travel Memories

Today's Tasks

  1. Read the lesson context.
  2. Listen to the audio clips several times until the sounds feel familiar. Do not repeat aloud—just listen and absorb.
  3. Download the Anki deck and review it daily. It includes all the audio clips in today's lesson for efficient review. Review previous decks if prompted to do so.
  4. Spend at least 30 minutes listening to native Russian audio. It doesn't matter if you don't understand it.

Audio Clips

  • 1.
Remember when we got lost in Petersburg at night, and they took you for a local?
  • 2.
How could I forget! Some old lady asked me for directions, thinking I was from Petersburg.
  • 3.
And you explained to her with a serious face where to go, even though it was your first day in the city.
  • 4.
Well, I had to save face. In the end I think I pointed her the right way, I hope.
  • 5.
Ha ha, I still laugh at how confidently you were telling her about Nevsky Prospekt.
  • 6.
At least it's a story for life. Now I always study the map in advance, just in case.
  • 7.
Yeah, those were the days. Good times when we traveled carefree in our youth.
  • 8.
Exactly. We need to take a trip like that again sometime, otherwise we're stuck in routine.
