Day 6 - Noisy Neighbors

Today's Tasks

1. Read the lesson context.
2. Listen to the audio clips several times until the sounds feel familiar. Do not repeat aloud—just listen and absorb.
3. Download the Anki deck and review it daily. It includes all the audio clips in today's lesson for efficient review. Review previous decks if prompted to do so.
4. Spend at least 30 minutes listening to native Russian audio. It doesn't matter if you don't understand it.

  Слушай, ты не знаешь, кто вчера ночью так шумел на этаже?

  Listen, do you know who was making so much noise last night on our floor?
• 2.
  Не уверен, но похоже, это из сорок пятой квартиры. Там молодёжь тусовалась.

  Not sure, but it seemed to be from apartment 45. Some young people were partying there.
• 3.
  Ясно. В два часа ночи музыка орала - вообще спать невозможно было.

  I see. At two in the morning the music was blaring — it was impossible to sleep.

  Я тоже проснулся. Хотел пойти разобраться, но они к трём стихли.

  I woke up too. I wanted to go sort it out, but they quieted down by three.
• 5.
  Надо бы им замечание сделать. Каждый выходной одно и то же.

  We should say something to them. Every weekend it's the same thing.

  Согласен. Давай в следующий раз вместе поднимемся, поговорим по-хорошему.

  Agreed. Next time let's go up together and talk to them nicely.

  Да, вдвоём как-то солиднее. Может, поймут.

  Yeah, together it's more solid. Maybe they'll get it.
• 8.
  Будем надеяться. А то если нет - придётся уже в полицию звонить.

  Let's hope so. If not, we'll have to call the police.
